Do yourself a favor and throw that leadslead away. Your point of impact and barrel harmonics are affected by it. Don't hide behind that crutch...unless you plan on bringing it into the field hunting!
I've read that in a Savage users manual and also told the same from the tech at Savage. This was in regards to their accustocks.
For these accustocks I run 40 in front and 35 rear.
If you want you can get a Wyatt's mbe-3 magazine box, they're ony about $35. They're advertised at 3.825" but mine measured 3.840".

In March I sold my 5.7 Hemi '08 Laramie. It had 240,000 miles on it, I really don't know how long it would have lasted but I was not having to dump any money into it yet.
Bought a 2016 sport 5.7 Hemi.
I believe if you are halfway mechanically minded and keep up maintenance on a truck it'll last.
