    New to squirrels

I take my time and aim, 50 yards and in. I usually go out with a goal.... say 4 squirrels. If I had a shotgun I'd get to 4 much quicker because 80% of the little guys I see are moving quickly. But I prefer 22 head shots just to preserve meat and make cleaning easier. I guess I just suffer and...

KUIU vs Sitka vs First Lite

Just to add on, the FL pro program is amazing! As Active Duty Military, LEO and similar occupations you qualify. I know kuiu does a discount via GOVX, but it's not near as good as FL. All things being equal, with the MIL discount my set is almost all FL. I have random Kuiu and Outdoor...

Kifaru Gun Bearer vs. FHF Gear Rifle Sling and Pack Attachment System

Watching this thread, I am researching the same question for my new X Bolt Speed. I feel that I am pretty much over slings in general, but I really like the FHF Gear option if I am going to do a sling. Right now, I am leaning on doing a MYOG (make your own gear) EXO rifle pack attachment...

It has a natural fatty/oil to the meat, that crisps up so nicely under the intense heat of a pizza oven. Squirrel, pineapple and...

    Spring Bear Hunt Planning

I'm currently planning my first "western" hunt, a Montana spring bear. I have spent an incalculable amount of hours on GoHunt filter 2.0 and various GPS platforms. I think just like most things, you have to go do it to be good at it. I don't have anything to trade, but I am free to bounce...
