    First time hearing someone doesnt like the exceptional accuracy of a Tikka. I own 5 with no issues...great triggers. 2 Have McMillans.... Never took the Kimber gamble...but I might if I found a 7-08.

    Realistic range for Iron Sights

    Depends, deep woods I would be concerned if you can see them. I've used iron sights when I was younger with a peep at 500 yards. I'm older now and can't see Chitt, so it really depends on how well you can see.
