Ive never used the back pocket in my Pranas. Actually wearing them today and my wallet always goes in front. FWIW, I learned years ago to carry a smaller wallet in front and I have fewer back issues, believe it or not.
It is PLA, but we finally figured out ABS. It's a garage queen and only gets driven on bluebird days so PLA is fine for now. We will see how it holds up. I have a new printer I need to set up that can run some of the more industrial materials that are way more heat tolerant. May dabble in...
Not joking but here is my baby. Haven't connected anything yet but very retro 80's for sure. Will eventually pair it with a hidden USB/BT converter with a small amp. As I didn't want to damage the factory speaker holes I went with a mid priced pair of Sony 6.5" round speakers. Shit the exhaust...
good idea grinding it. I cube it, but if you don't go small enough then you don't get the yield. I have about the same amount I need to render. Might work on it this weekend.
You shouldn't cook with olive oil if the heat gets high (i.e. frying) It has a low smoke point and gets carcinogenic pretty quickly. Try Avocado or Coconut oil if you don't like tallow. FWIW, you should do some research on tallow. It's not the evil that we were all trained that it is. I...
My grandfather was a stickler for backups. I have several of his old rifles that had iron sights and scopes installed. Some of the old Williams peeps could be slid out of the mount and put in your pocket. Easy enough to remove the old scope with Weaver mounts and slide in the peep if needed...
H1000? I run IMR4831 and it groups well. Not a Tikka though. I agree with others. Shoot a bigger group and see what it does. If I am at the range, i keep the bolt open and let it cool for a few minutes after each shot. I have a fairly heavy spiral fluted barrel and it takes a while to...
I think I had 4 sets on my Jeep if you include the stockers, but cars and pickups I pretty much leave alone. The jeep came with aftermarkets and unfortunately burned. Had a lot of $$ invested in the wheels and tires (which didn't burn) so threw a set of stockers on it that a buddy had given...
M77 in 257 Roberts. Every deer but two that I have ever shot with a rifle were taken with that one. Only ones that weren't were my first (Model 94 30-30) and the last, a Seekins PH2 in 300WM. Oh I did shoot one with my brothers 270 wsm for fun. I could have shot all of them with that 257...
Either solo or with my brother. My son is going to try and start to join us. I can get away for longer, at least the last few years, so I'll go for two weeks and brother joins me the last week. Its fun as I can get a line on where the critters are.
