VV N555 in the prc family

I was going off VV marketing info. Good to know if it doesn't work in 6.5 cm that it may work in prc. Thanks!

VV N555 in the prc family

V V claims that n555 is comparable to H4350/RL16 in burn rate. I have a jug I picked up with the intent to use in my Creedmoor family of rifles when I'm out of H4350. I think it would be too fast burning for my 6.5prc.

Let's Talk Home & Auto Insurance Companies

This is what irritates and confuses me. It irritates me because actually using the insurance that often times has been paid on time and in full for many years or decades results in premium increases if a claim is filed. It confuses me because we are often "encouraged" to carry policies with $500...

    LRHS2 back in stock

I"m late to finding this thread but I have used a DMR3 for over a year. I don't have an LRHS2 to compare the DMR3 to but I have an original LRHS scope. The DMR3 is heavier and a bit bulkier. I use the DMR3 on a target rifle and it has held up well. My DMR3 was used in a long range class where...

    Element Optics users

I have an Element Helix 6-24x50 ffp mrad on a PCP Air rifle. I've used the scope for a couple years and it has worked well. Glass is fine, adjustments seem to be accurate and it has held zero. All that being said, my use of this scope has been nothing comparable to the use of a scope on a 300 wm...

    Theoretical build value?

I would venture to say there's more value in new, unused parts than there is an assembled rifle from an unknown gunsmith.

    New Deck

Ours is 7 years old and ours still looks like new. North Dakota weather can range from 100F to -30F over the course of a year. What amazes me the most about composite decking is the amount it will expand and contract with varying temperatures.

    New Deck

We have Azek/Timbertech on our house with hidden screws. Large deck with south and west exposure and a front porch with east exposure. Both have held up great to our weather although as some mentioned, while not ugly, it does tend to show little imperfections in the framing beneath. The only...

Best moose meat hauling frame pack?

I researched this topic for a moose hunt I did several years ago. At the time, Alaskans with experience moose hunting and hauling moose meat seemed to recommend the Freighter sold by Barney's Sports Chalet. I didn't end up purchasing one for that hunt but I would give them a call and see if one...

Active Junky Discount - Didn't work with a Bass Pro Purchase

This is not the first I've heard of Cabelas/Bass Pro refusing to pay out Active Junky recently. Eventually it was squared away but in the end I think even less of Cabelas than I already had. I wonder how many claims get denied and the buyer never follows up so Cabelas saves the money they would...

    non factory coyote calibers

I use the 40 grain Bergers in my 20 practical. It's not a long range rig by any means. Most shots I take are 250 and in but I've shot a couple out to 350 and had great success. I haven't had good luck with 20 cal tipped bullets on coyotes.

    non factory coyote calibers

My favorite non factory coyote round is the 20 practical. My second favorite is the 6x45. I shoot them both in AR platforms but have considered a 20 practical in a bolt rifle. I have thousands of empty 223 cases and necking them up or down is simple. I also don't mind losing some out on the...

Best hunting bullet for 6.5 PRC

I have no idea if it's the best or not but the 140 eld-m that I used on a cow elk functioned perfectly. 300 yard broadside shot through the lungs. She walked about 10 yards after the shot, wobbled and tipped over. Complete pass through and lots of trauma inside.

Direct Thread Suppressors; Swapping Back and Forth Between Rifles at Range

I have not used AG covers, yet. I've read great reviews on their covers, however. I have a Dominus in jail now and I may try an AG cover on it.

Direct Thread Suppressors; Swapping Back and Forth Between Rifles at Range

I swap suppressors all the time. All my rifles maintain zero after removing and reinstalling the can. As far as a suppressor wrap, I have several and the best I have at reducing mirage is made by Precision Underground.
