    A gunsmith should be able to convert the 6.5x47L to a 6.5 Creedmore if needed. Creedmore chamber is slightly larger.

    New switch weight mods would need to be purchased to go over 60#. I believe they cost around $60. The current mods are 60#. I’m not a bow technician but the limbs are screwed all the weigh in and my hand scale says 60#.

    FNG lurking in CO (Douglas Co)

    I also live in Douglas county. I prefer Colorado Rifle Club in Byers. It’s a long drive but I think it’s the best range around. Many different types of shooting opportunities at CRC to include paper to 1000 yards and steel to 770 yards soon further.

    Unable to develop load for rifle

    Buy another 300WM. Compare the two rifles’ accuracy. Sell the less accurate rifle through consignment. Every time I buy a rifle that doesn’t shoot well for me or I dont like it for whatever reason then I’m not going to waste my time with it.
