I would recommend one of the head mounts whatever they're called but the mounts that are just on some headgear. I've used one for several years and they aren't super expensive.
The only use that I could think is either like you said identifying the game with more detail or sometimes identifying game when there is other hot objects in the area such as rocks. I know sometimes especially in the evenings identifying game can be difficult when the rocks are still extremely...
I actually ran into the owner in 2021 in the mountains. Very very nice guy out on an archery elk hunt and he demonstrated how it all worked and he's an amazing guy. I'm very new to elk hunting and he gave a a few pointers on the area and we stayed out of each other's way while hunting. Solid guy...

Call the local game warden and explain the situation I’m sure they can come help or can find locals to come help pack the meat out for you or arrange something
I have owned dirtbikes for several years and have been surrounded by them since I could walk however I took a big break and just got back into it recently and so I did tons of research on how bikes have changed and what I want in a bike. 3 brands I would recommend. Yamaha like the guy above said...
This one may not be the best but definitely my favorite. Filled 3 tags in 3 days and this is how we had the meat laid out on our drive home. Letting them cool off with airflow and ofc had to have the racks poking up a little bit but when we transferred them from the coolers to the truck bed in a...
Go on Facebook and join the group new homes for pack goats. Tons of very kind people and I've gotten a total of 5 goats off of their that are working amazing for me. Just be patient and you will see people willing to let extremely good goats go for an array of reasons. Another place to check is...
Endless Archery in Nampa, Idaho has a 60 yard indoor range that has a large assortment of animals and obstacles to shoot around. Don't let them work on your bow though. Had them "tune" a bow for me as well as several buddies that have gone to them and 75% of the time the bows have come out...
I have recently switched over to running only a back bar with my Mathews vertix. Its an 11" quattro archery stabilizer. I have 3 oz on it which perfectly balances out the bow.
I was watching youtube and said "Dad I want to go do that." Went and talked to some friends about the requirements to hunt and all the legal stuff, discussed a few units to try and get int for then practice shooting and hope for a tag. Ended up getting a tag with my lil bro and we've hunted...
Hello everyone, I've been seeing a ton of threads about TAC and everything encompassing it. I started to look into going to an event and was trying to find one semi-local. I'm from the Boise area and the closest would either be Oregon or Salt Lake City. Unfortunately I'm not able to travel to...
