    Pendleton, OR

I haven't lived there for many, many years but you don't need to limit yourself to Oregon. 1-2 hours away and you are hunting Eastern WA.

    Massage Guns

I use the Theragun all the time. They had a significant veteran discount when I purchased.

Its that time of year 2023 fitness goals

I didn't set any new goals last year. 5'8" / 180 and in decent shape. I CrossFit 5 days a week plus a recovery style yoga once a week. New short-term goal for the year is getting double unders to where I can do unbroken sets of 40-50. Still haven't got a muscle up. Maybe this year.

Question about Magnetospeed xfr adapter for iPhone

I use the Apple brand adapter without issue. If having issues make sure your volume isn't muted.

    RBros Apex Hunter - Reviews?

I can't imagine you not liking the rifle. I have a PRS comp rifle, the LWLR Hunter (steel barrel) in 300wm and a new Apex Hunter in 6.5 creedmoor. I don't regret any of them. Travis is great to work with. If you haven't already make sure to call and discuss what you think you want. He...

300WM, Berger 210, and H1000: Starting load and OCW test recommendations

Obviously start low and work up. I ended up at 77.3 grains H1000 @2995, 210 VLD, .010 off, CCI, Normal brass in a 26" Broughton barrel. I tested up to 78.0 without pressure concerns. Brass is closing out third firing and starting fourth.

    Where to get brass annealed?

I believe there is a guy on SH advertising annealing as a paid service. I agree with this. Ask around and see if you can find an AMP buddy. A lot of the PRS shooters have AMPs. If they are setup for the same cartridge then it only costs ten minutes of their time.

    Nightforce Mil-R Reticle

I have it on a PRS setup. It doesn't distract when searching for targets. I expect it won't in the field either.

    Murph

A couple minutes slower this year at 55 minutes. 52 yo, no vest, partitioned, Rx movements.

    Suppressor wait times

Got my Ultra5 last Friday. Certified Feb 1st. 116 days for approval. Much better than waiting a year and my previous was 10 months.

    2020 fitness goals

Doing the Murph is on my list this year and recently added Clovis but I'm on a different time schedule. Clovis will be sometime in April and Murph is on Memorial Day. Clovis will probably be scaled for me as I doubt I'll able to do 150 pull ups even broken into 10 sets. I'll be close on Murph...

    Personal fitness goals

Next year will be my first attempt at completing the Memorial Day Murph. Come spring I'll have a better idea of will I be able to do it with or without a weight vest and or just doing a 1/2 Murph. The pull ups will be what holds me back.

    Magnetospeed usage in load development

I think you are on track with your plan but you might question the data and feel you need to verify because it is kind of an unknown. I've used the magneto speed during load development / barrel break in on heavier contour barrels and all the data was valid with just POI impact change. I...

Anyone here deal with back pain???

The inversion table (Teeter) was step one of my recovery. It helped to relieve the compression / extrusion which allowed me to start stretching. As others note it won't fix the problem but did provide a large amount of relief. Eventually I tried yoga and after a year or so I started saying my...

    210 grain Berger close range

I shot a bull at about 35 yards last year. 300WM running just short of 3000 fps. Knocked a good 1-2 inch hole on the way in and found the jacket with a small amount of lead under the hide on the off side. The shot was behind the shoulder slightly quartering away with the off side damage /...
