Update on the Savage 280 AI. I have only killed 1 deer with it yet and it performed very well. I went on a hunting trip and shot a 2 shot group just to check if the rifle was on and the bullet holes where touching at 100 yards. -

Well I was fortunate enough to harvest a whitetail with the .280 AI yesterday. The deer was quartering to me and I shot him in the shoulder and the bullet exited right behind the off side shoulder. Had a great blood trail and he piled up in about 50 yards. Pleased with the performance so far -
