I was born in San Francisco, California where my dad was a butcher. He taught me to hunt and fish from a very young age and I am teaching my three boys the same. I hunt blacktail in Mendocino county, pheasant at Bird's landing, and try and make a trip every year or two out of state - i have hunted Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, and Old Mexico for Mule deer, Elk, Antelope and Coues deer.
