Crispi vs Schnees

I have Crispi's they are great. But I don't think they will be making the trip when I head to Alaska for a Caribou hunt. We are heading down a river from Umiat for a couple of hours. Then hunting from a base camp there. Foot wear of choice is Orvis Pro Wading Boots or Simms G4s with Chota Tundra...

I hunted with Efford's 2 years ago and I found them to be top notch. The camp was basic but very comfortable, the cook was great and the guides were excellent. I thought Bob was very personable as well. Tagged out by noon the first day of hunting and enjoyed the rest of the week in the solitude...

Has anyone tried a decent pair of wading hiking boots say for example the Orvis Pro Wading boot combined with Chota Tundra hippies for Alaska tundra caribou hunts?
