I just got another Sparrow from SS. It was in stock and it took 3 weeks to get the form 3 done to transfer to my shop, 1 week to certify. Just 2 days for ATF approval
I have Kowa 6.5 and they are fantastic. Huge field of view, light, very bright. I think most people are over scoped and run too much magnification on binos. Trying to hold a pair of 10x steady for long gets tiresome.
Even IF there was a glare with the dot, you could always close the window for the fiber optic and just use it as a regular reticle. It is still an awesome scope without the benefit of the illumination.
I can't.
FF with holder overs will do it. 3-9 Accupoint will have better glass and IMHO the green mil dot reticle is the best pure hunting reticle made (non dialing).
I was wondering what's up! I purchased a Sparrow through SS, my 4th can from them. It took 3 weeks to get the form 3 done and received by my local dealer. I got notified by the dealer it is there, but I am still waiting to certify and it will be 4 weeks on Weds.
Hopefully I'll get approved...
This makes sense. I thought there would be some growth but I saw nothing. Used to hunt Troublesome Creek and it will be decades before it recovers.
I spent the night in Winter Park a talked with the girl at the Best Western about it. It must have terrifying yet striking to see the fire...
I had many successful backpacking hunts there. I drove up last October and about wanted to cry. Moonscape with charred skeletons of trees. I saw no sign of regrowth, yet there were trailers and horse tracks where hunters were giving it a go at a trailhead....no idea how a rabbit could find...
Ever considered that powder volume consistency may actually be more important than weight? Within reason of cours, not talking about a full grain varience.
Get a good beam scale and powder measure and test thrown vs individually weighed charges for yourself. I enjoy loading, but not wasting...
I've got a 2008 limited edition FW in 270 from BACO's initial run in SC. It is just gorgeous and shoots well under and inch with a couple different 150g bullets. Its a safe queen and I keep waffling on selling it. It just hard to sell a gorgeous shooter.
Hello. Have an excellent condition 10x SS MQ for sale with Butler Creek caps, swfa rings, and bubble level. The scope is in near new condition and was only mounted briefly on a CZ 457. Asking $275 shipped for everything to the lower 48. Prefer check or MO but willing to discuss other options.
