I couldn’t get the more open chokes to throw a pattern that I liked. I went .555 in my 20ga and .660 in my 12ga for my preferred pattern. You just never know until you shoot them.
I use 870 and 1187 in 20 gauge both with 21” barrels. With my handloads I’m getting 300 pellets with my 870 and 350 pellets with my 1187 in a 10” circle at 40 yards. I have Vortex Venom 3 moa red dots on my turkey guns.
StaBall 6.5 powder, 143 grain eld-x bullets for practice and some with 140 grain Accubond bullets hunting loads with Fed210 primers in all. Nosler brass
I use a RCBS hand primer and love it. I’m not sure what another priming tool would/could do that the RCBS one that I have can’t.
What problems are you having with your RCBS priming tool?
I tried a handheld release and hated it. I was more apt to punch the trigger and was way less accurate with it than a wrist strap. The wrist strap is way easier to draw and shoot for me than a handheld release. A wrist strap release is a perfect release for hunting for me. I will never use...
I knew I was only doing a light bar and a winch, so I didn’t go the control route. I also used factory looking switches in my panel. Made for a nice clean look.
