How far do you need to get north of the border before this traffic thins out and dilutes? It would make sense that right along the border would be thick with trouble. But once they get across the river and to wherever the drugs are going to disperse, do the REALLY violent/cartel ones stop?
I just have bird dogs so I've never had an issue. My brother in WI runs bear with hounds and I know his group has run into issues with a few local vets refusing service on hounds. Fortunately they have found a good vet who patches up the dogs when needed and appreciates the business.
In Minnesota it is a crime to sell illegal controlled substances, but it is also a crime to sell controlled substances without affixing the appropriate tax stamp. I've never prosecuted a drug dealer who DID collect taxes and affix the appropriate stamp.
MattB's link on the AZ Habitat Partnership committee has some useful information on their yearly projects and costs. Can I show earmarked dollars going to earmarked projects? No.
It seems pretty logical to me that a department that gets $400k more will have money to spend on such projects. And...
And I respect your opinion. But if a HUGE chunk of money comes in that the AZDG&F can and does use for habitat improvement projects, doesn't that benefit the herd for everyone? The amount of money those of us who don't have generational wealth would have to pay to make up the difference is not...
I think this is similar to a Argentina dove hunt my dad "won" at a RGS banquet. Ended up cutting our loses and hoping some of the money spent went to ruffed grouse habitat.
I shot a white-tailed doe in the WI rifle season (Late Nov) back when I was in high school. The fawn came out of the brush after mom was down. I felt kind of bad then. I started gutting the doe and saw that she still had milk. That is when I started feeling terrible.
I won't shoot a doe...
I want to be very clear. In no way shape or form did I mean to suggest that a juror could be jailed for finding an individual not guilty. I suggested it could be a possibility if someone lied under oath, promised to follow the Judge's orders, and did not that they could be found in contempt...
Excellent! My nephew's buck isn't going to make any Boone & Crocket lists but he shot a bigger buck than either his dad or grandpa. Made a clean, one-shot, kill. And he fist pumped and said a swear-word when his buck dropped.
This one hits pretty close to home. I am a prosecuting attorney. I am no fan of wolves but I’ve been through dozens of jury trials…just never as a defendant. For those of you saying that jury nullification is a thing, respectfully, you are incorrect. Jurors are not allowed to pick and choose...
My buddy in college got me started drinking bourbon with Maker's Mark. I'll still drink that if that's what you're pouring. My everyday go-to is now Bulleit. I generally have some Bulleit 10-year in the cabinet but it takes a special reason to pull that out.
My girlfriend's father bought me...
I wish. Never a wolverine. I was lucky enough to see a lynx once. The local CO told me there were a few different lynx sightings that particular winter in Northern MN.
