The Sierra Designs Cloud is a mummy but has more of a free/open cover which seems interesting. Also has a false bottom so don't need the extra down under if using an appropriate sleeping pad. May not matter for the truck camping but still an interesting design.
I just have a closet I put most of my gear in but have seen some videos where people have created mounts where plastic bins can slide into the mount. I've seen some as racks and some up above garages where the bins can slide up and hang from the ceiling. Seems like a good idea for storage...
I got the tensor all season after having the xlite and it was a big comfort improvement. The other one is recommend is the rei helix pad. It seems a little more durable and similar comfort to the ZB pad with the design while being cheaper to purchase.
That’s great. Can’t say to what condition my friend kept his truck in and he did do some light towing which may have put some additional stress on needing to replace the turbo.
Couldn’t agree more. No amount of money will give you back the time with your family. As long as you are comfortable with the new salary, I’d enjoy your life and your family.
