    Trapping has already been pretty much banned in Colorado since 1996. It is live trap only which isn't effective on anything besides bobcats.

    I had that same scenario happen to me on my Newfoundland hunt a few years ago. The guides would say "The moose are in da woods, nutting we can do." It really makes you feel like they aren't putting a good effort in when they won't let you go after moose you can hear and see.

    My biggest money saver was/is to never move out of home. Job has been 2 miles from home and no girlfriend/wife so no reason to leave yet. Definetly not the most popular option but I enjoy being around my parents and I don't mind the stigma.

    I saw decent numbers of good bucks on my hunt a couple weeks ago. First time there so I'm not sure whats normal. Hunted a bit less than 2 square mile area and saw 30-40 different bucks.

    Lost my brand new inreach mini on the first day hunting Kodiak last week. I know where I lost it but its so thick and steep its gone forever. Hopefully the bear that finds it doesn't chomp down on the s.o.s button first.

    Colorado just posted the age results for the '22 season. I'm curious how old everybodys bears were? There is quite a few bears in the 24-26 year old range which is pretty amazing. My sow was aged at 9.
