Sorry for the late reply.. my hunt was pretty much a bust. Ended up sick as a dog on my first day out and throughout the rest of the week. Saw a bunch of does and only one little forkie. That’s how it goes!
I’m located in Idaho Falls and would like to try and do some trapping this winter. I’ve found what I think is a pretty good beaver spot not far from Idaho Falls and would like to go with someone and learn how to do it. If you’re willing to show me some things, get ahold of me!
Hey guys, this is probably a long shot but I’m gonna take it anyway. I’m new to mule deer hunting, as I’m originally from the Midwest where we sat in deer stands over a corn field waiting for a big whitetail. I’ve got a few units picked out around East Idaho since I’m in Idaho Falls to hunt come...
I took a drive up to Island Park yesterday and I can confirm it is still winter up there 😂 but hearing there were bear tracks in Harriman sounds like good news.
The snow is definitely a major factor for everyone’s plans this spring. Are you staying down that way towards poky to hunt? You ever bear hunt up north at all?
Thanks for the info! Seems like snow has been disappearing at a quick rate around here. I’m going to keep an eye on it in the next couple weeks and see what kind of hunt I can get out of this season.
Yep, I’m in IF. I was going to take a drive up around Island Park this weekend. I knows there’s a bunch of snow still up there but this weather has me itching 😂
Anyway, keep in touch, I plan on getting out a handful of times come May.
What’s up everyone? I’m in east Idaho and plan on spring black bear hunting within a few hours of Idaho Falls. Any other solo guys wanting to get together and find some bears get ahold of me. This weather is finally starting to let up, let’s do some hunting 🍻
