Ways to holster your side arm to bag or self during elk hunt
I holster my Glock-20 on my pack's hip belt. When processing game, my binoc harness & pack are off. This Vedder Holster just clips off and clips onto my pants belt. Not that easy to unclip as it has a clip retainer molded in, takes me a minute to undo. Layered on Stealth Strip to quiet down... -

fixed CoC blade for sure. I use IW last 4 years but for many years a Slick Trick. One thing for certain, KEEP THEM SHARP. My IW's were good outta box but after touching them up, even better. -

Release question
I would prefer a thumb button release for hunting for many reasons stated above. But due to pitching too many baseballs, I have a 15+% right arm-elbow disability that prevents me from using a thumb release. Cannot get the back of my hand to my cheek, with hand-arm turned as such. And doing so... -
