Safety Toe Mountaineering boots? We have them.

Yea I had the double shank which is nice. It was the leather around the heel, annkle and calf portion. I will say this. The lineman version of the pac boots is amazing. Just come back out with the old orange bottom ones. Those were the best.

Safety Toe Mountaineering boots? We have them.

I’ve wore Hoffman and meindl line boots for 20+ years. I’m anxious to see what the combination is considering I have been in strictly meindls for 9 years. Has the leather composition changed much. The last Hoffmans I had were great for climbing but the break in period due to the leather had me...

TAC driver vane 2.25 vs 2.75

Here is a comparison for you. This is a 4 fletch AAE hybrid and a 3 fletch 2.75 TAC driver.

TAC driver vane 2.25 vs 2.75

When paper tuning just look up the chart and micro adjustments on your rest will take the tears right out. You can even paper tune with vanes if you want. Just follow this chart. Pretty easy.

TAC driver vane 2.25 vs 2.75

If you create to much drag it creates a parachute effect and you will lose velocity. I use TAC vanes and I feel no need to four fletch. Using qad exodus, slick tricks and magnus heads. If I feel the need or want for a four fletch. I use AAE hybrid or bohning heat vanes for four fletch. You can...

Anyone wish they didn’t fletch their own arrows?

I absolutely love building arrows. I build mine and for allot of other people too. I will tell you. Just buy a last chance archery vane master pro. Makes its very simple. Also don’t buy into the whole glue primer thing. Just get the gorilla glue gel pen and be done. Also. Find a vane you like. I...

    Boots for whitetails and elk?

I had a pair of lowa renegades. Just wasn’t for me. Fit me funny but they fit other people just fine. Like others say. Just find what fits you best. For me it’s L&S. Best boots I’ve ever owned. Mine have never leaked or even got wet inside. Even after rain and walking through creeks not a leak one.

    Shooting prone

Yea I have squirrel moments. Sorry OP. I had a moment.

    Shooting prone

It’s the dangedest thing I’ve ever seen. He shot a doe in Kentucky year before last bow hunting. 12 years old. Blowing snow he is in a log jam. Draws and pinwheels her heart from his knees at 15 yards. She fell in sight I was just 30 yards from him. I seen her fall and when I turned around here...

    Boots for whitetails and elk?

I hunt mountain whitetails in western North Carolina and will be elk hunting next fall. I went with the lathrop and sons mountain hunter elite. I pack out my deer and they are excellent. Probably heavier than what you like but I have no doubt they will be excellent at any type of hunting in...

    Shooting prone

Yup yup. The front rest makes allot of difference. From steadiness to proper body positioning. I look at things a bit differently than some. I think true efficiency with a weapon comes from allot of range time and proper fundamentals in many shooting situations. Repeated fundamentals becomes...

    Shooting prone

I’m sure most guys are using those things also but not every situation allows the set up time. I’ve seen many times on some YouTube videos that a hurry and shoot they fall to prone and miss allot of the time. Most of them don’t really know how to shoot prone. They lay in a straight line with the...

    Shooting prone

Yes without a front rest. If a pack or bipod can be used it is stable but in a hurry a free hand prone is not as stable. Your relying on your arms and such to be your rest on with a single elbow supporting the gun. Like a ball joint in a car it moves with weight transfer. We have been competing...
