you could consider a Sauer 100 in 6.5 Creed or 243.
I recently came into one in 6.5 creed. I had never considered a Sauer before because there is zero aftermarket for them.
I am impressed with it though. it's shooting 130 ELDM @2830 for 1.2" or less @ 100yds.
it uses Rem 700 scope bases...

At a basic level, if I don't know who threaded a barrel, I'll pull the bolt and look down the barrel with the suppressor attached(from breech). eyeball center of barrel and as long as you can't see the suppressor bore intruding into the barrel bore line or appears uneven, you're good.
I've been testing both backup irons and scope remount to zero.
As far as scope returning to zero after being remounted, torque the mount nut/screws and put a witness mark on them.
