    I agree that the key is patience. Also routinely check a half dozen on-line suppliers, not just one or two. I have found fairly good prices on occasion, and availability, by diligently checking suppliers each morning for a few things that I have decided to search for.

    I bump the shoulder just enough for smooth chambering, close to zero effective headspace.

    How anal are you about case length?

    I like to keep brass wel under the max length so there is no danger of it hitting the end of the chamber neck. For max of 2.015, I trim to 2.005 and watch it for creep.

    Worth the weight?

    I replaced my big spotter plus HD tripod that was required to stabilize it. Weight was over 8 lb combined. Now use a Kowa 553 or 554 with a light tripod at less than half the weight, but similar optical quality.

    Sierra 225 BT, 57-IMR 4064, 2675 fps. Max in my Rem 7600 with 22" barrel, work up to it.
