    I agree that I’ve seen people write this before. But it’s hardly a rule in real life based on my experiences. The actual quality of the glass will vary widely from brand to brand and model to model, and price does not always directly relate.

    High volume, I just use the FL die and expander button. Lower volume, I’ll FL size without the button and use a .002” mandrel.

    Looks good. I actually have a 20” HCA barrel for my 6 Creed coming as well. Went back and forth on it and a Proof, but decided to test out the HCA. I think I’m still about 10 weeks out from getting that rifle in hand though.

    Scope mounting loctite or not?

    Years ago I used to just torque the bases and rings in fresh from the packaging which were usually oiled. I had both rings and bases shoot fully loose. Then I started degreasing but now I degrease and loctite everything to minimize any chance of a screw coming loose.

    .223 75gr eldm varget

    Tikka .223 Lapua Brass Cci 450 24.1gr Varget 75 ELD M I’m loading .02” off the lands and get a little over 2800fps. Could load to 24.5 or 25gr in my rifle if I wanted. Shoots great.
