Lots of good recommendations. I like the spartan and the detachable atlas. Got a gunwerks bipod for this year.
Collapsable shooting sticks (i.e. hammer) are a good option to keep handy in the daypack.
Good luck on your hunt.

I’m a big fan of the 300 PRC. I had a fierce rogue that shot Hornady PH very well. Sold it to a good friend. With a good brake, it is very manageable. I like the APA 3 or 4 port brakes.
Sometimes I think a 22” 300 PRC with a NF is nearly perfect for a one-gun NA29 rig.

I love the Kenai jacket, but…. it shines when you are active not static. Switch that for the Superdown pro (size up). I assume the Superdown burner would be even better for durability and its weather rain resistance. (I don’t have one, though… not at $800).
I sized up on my Superdown pro...
If you are not stuck on a short action, 25-06 and 270 are good options.
Between the two, 7mm if elk on the menu, 6.5 if not. 6.5 is adequate for elk, but I’d prefer the 7mm-08.
A good brake or suppressor and recoil will be nearly nonexistent.

For black bears, if I was shooting copper, I’d opt for the 150 TTSX. However, I agree with the others that BBs are not as tough as most believe and a cup and core bullet would be my pick. I don’t think the 215 Berger is the wrong answer for any NA big game… well, maybe the biggest bears, bison...
I passed on the XL7 30-06 when I got my first rifle at 14 and got a M700 BDL .270. I wish I’d have gotten the Marlin. At the time, the M700 was on sale for $420 and the XL7 was about $100 or so more.
The Marlin was a great build.
