    I flew last week with one and 2 strikers in a carry on backpack with zero problem. The scope I had in there, now that's a different story. They let it go, but made an "exception". There was a debate about it being a gun part or used as a club.

    Fina Financial advisor here. If you've got an advisor, have them run a Money Guide Pro or eMoney plan for you. You can run best/worst case scenarios for the markets, inflation, needs for long term care, etc. The low cost online brokers (fidelity, vanguard, schwab) should have viable options...

    Ruger American, 7mm-08. A bit more forgiving for elk, imho. And will be plenty for deer. The 25-06 recommendation earlier or the 6.5 cm would work too. I'm just not in the 6mm fan base for elk.

    Surprised no one called me out on that one, i was kind of cheating. I was on a walking bridge over the small river that runs thru Estes Park for that pic. The rest were much more wild 😉
