I'm considering pulling the older 2.5x8x36 Leupold off my NULA 7mm-08 to try and get a little more edge in the early morning and late afternoon light. Here in NYS, the "powers that be" have granted us 30 minutes before sunrise and 30 minutes after sunset to hunt big game starting this year...

New Tibet GTX

I've had the Tibet's now for about a year and a half. 90% of my use is spring gobbler hunting, they took quite a while to break in but really feel great now. I have custom insoles and couldn't wear them without. They sure are stiff but I do like that and understand the need. I'm thinking of...

Best piece of hunting clothing, and why...

Why are the my favorite/most used? I don't wash them, Mother Nature takes care of that, they haven't faded one bit, they've been torn and had holes poked in them but they haven't frayed, they don't stink even when I do. I could go on but those that know, know.

Easily my KOM hooded (unlined) sweatshirt and KOM Bunwarmer pants, purchased new in 1991 IIRC. The sweatshirt is used in the spring and fall, pants fall only....

First Lite Observasions from a newbie

Am I the only one that doesn't like (can't stand) the elastic in the hand warmer pockets of the Sanctuary Jacket? They are NOT user friendly IMO and will need to be adapted. I'm not sold on the strength of the jackets main zipper either, I don't see it as a particularly long life product. Too...
