Kryptek is a technical hunting clothing line that is built on tactical Military apparel attributes. After years of combat in extreme conditions and environments, we saw a need in the hunting apparel industry to provide highly technical gear using our combat experiences to ensure all needs were met. It was lacking a technical clothing line that was functional, durable, reliable, and yet still affordable.

Kryptek provides combat proven features and designs in high-performance, technical, and tactical hunting and outdoor apparel. Kryptek products are continuously tested and proven in austere combat environments and extreme hunting conditions. Constant improvement and feedback is implemented into future designs with the end-goal of providing our products to avid outdoorsmen who demand the utmost in quality and overall performance in their gear.

BEHIND THE BRAND:

While serving together in the Ninewa Providence in Northern Iraq, Kryptek founders Josh Cleghorn and Butch Whiting discovered they shared a common thread: an unprecedented passion and desire for extreme big game hunting, especially in austere environments. They shared a common mentality and philosophical attitude about the pursuit of big game. Their success on the battlefield was directly related to this mentality - the same principles applied. Skill sets necessary in combat are often applicable to the hunter. It is here that Whiting and Cleghorn began their journey toward creating Kryptek Outdoor Group.
