    Bartlein or benchmark cfw barrel

    I have no experience with Benchmark barrels, but have 5 rifles chambered with Bartlein CFW barrels with the #4 and #13 contours. Plus several with Bartlein steel barrels. All of my Bartleins have been excellent, so I normally start and end there.

    Correct, the 8400 WSM stock will not work with an 8400 Win Mag. The WSM stock is for their 3.0" action and the Win Mag stock is long action.
