    one of my friends had it done to make a 300 prc, so it is possible. I’d just buy another action or tikka donor rifle with what they are charging for Tikka bolts though

    I would try to match the contour with a steel barrel blank of your choosing, and then any gunsmith can turn it into a 7mm prc with the appropriate reamer. Tikkas all have the Same bolt/action length(they use a bolt stop), so any magnum bolt face Tikka you buy could be converted, if i am not...

    Well that was quick! It’s a sweet build man, I appreciate you sharing the info. I’m gonna Try to soak the threads on the Factory barrel the next couple weeks and try and get it off without a smith. Wish me luck

    Not calling you out, just legitimately interested. I’d say pre-bipod you’ll likely be in the 9 pound range. Those nightforces are some heavy ladies but you can’t beat the reliability

    How did you get it to 7 pounds 8 ounce with a 28 ounce optic and a 24” barrel proof?! I’m doing ti everything, and while I don’t physically have the nightforce in my hands yet to weigh, the math isn’t coming anywhere near that. What’s the weight on that stock?
