Christensen Ridgeline 300RUM, Leupold VX6HD Optic, Norma Bondstrike Ammo (All I can get reliably the last few years)..........You wont be sorry with this combo.
Does it recoil? Sure does.....also who cares. I had a range day a few weeks ago and fired 50 reloads 5 min apart until they were gone...
Your spot on. A while back I posted a complete actuarial analysis on the outcome of non res hunting elimination in terms of dollar cost impact to res hunters and overall revenue streams for CPW. The resulting analysis outcome raised res hunting tag price to just under $200 for elk, $169 for...
This is spot on. Headed with Biggerstaff this year myself, 16 Resident points for 1st season. Hope all the good things I keep hearing come my way. Worldwide Trophy Adventures highly recommends Biggerstaff
Spot on! I’ll buy 3 if they make it 3 years…even in CO, outside the metro area, in rural areas of the state like WY….it’s rough through the winter and the rest of the year for that matter. Not to mention proximity to health care when retired, proximity to any modern amenities, etc etc etc…you’ll...
Federal lands and national parks are all of ours, so yes inherietly many states join the effort to fight the fire protect the broad spectrum of ownership.
Many states don’t join the effort to ensure pronghorn in WY are doing well. WY fights that battle and uses state resources to do so.

State owned wildlife...equals no one is entitled to a tag period, especially if you dont...
I have heard this before, but I dont think its entirely true about 61 and 62. 61 and 62 are HEAVILY recreated all summer and year for that matter with ATV, UTV, hikers, outdoor recreation of all kinds, etc......I dont think the elk just magically know the difference between a recreationist...
Now, if CPW cut 50k big game tags a year and at the same time eliminated non resident hunting all together….while charging $150 a tag in lieu of $125…..quality of hunts would skyrocket, revenue would stay the same, and nearly every resident who wanted a tag would get one!
Colorado roughly has 362k big game licenses sold every year, with roughly 103k of them going to non residents.
CPW roughly has $45 million in tag revenue. (38/7.5 non res to res).
CPW makes another $16 million in qualifying tag purchases (small game, fish, etc).
If Colorado eliminated non...
