I have done a little bit of seating depth testing, and although my best results and largest sample size is jumping them 0.010", I had really good results (although small sample sizes) jumping them 0.070" as well.
I also have a 7mm Rem Mag, 1:9.5 twist, 24" barrel and have found one of my better loads using the 175 Elite Hunter's. I've shot them at elevations from 5600 to 8000 ft. , but 500 yds is the furthest I've been able to practice with them. I haven't noticed anything weird. They shoot great for...

I must be some kind of stupid. I got a new Little Crow Gunworks trimmer for 7mm Rem Mag, and when trying to get it setup, went a bit overboard on the first 3 cases, trimming way under the recommended trim length of 2.490". In fact, these 3 are under the SAAMI minimum and measure 2.472".

I definitely don't consider it too bulky, which is a big reason I like it so much. It's warm, but not too warm, and I consider it a fall/spring kind of deal. And the Gore Windstopper is a nice feature. You could go lighter and get the Mountain vest, I suppose.
