    175 berger

I have done a little bit of seating depth testing, and although my best results and largest sample size is jumping them 0.010", I had really good results (although small sample sizes) jumping them 0.070" as well.

    175 berger

I also have a 7mm Rem Mag, 1:9.5 twist, 24" barrel and have found one of my better loads using the 175 Elite Hunter's. I've shot them at elevations from 5600 to 8000 ft. , but 500 yds is the furthest I've been able to practice with them. I haven't noticed anything weird. They shoot great for...

    Whats missing on your bench?

Love this setup. Compact and organized!

    Whats missing on your bench?

An AMP annealer and Henderson trimmer would be the tits. Having the auto-trickler for my A&D balance would be alright, too.

    FNG from Colorado

Awesome, one of my favorite areas in the state. Monarch has always been my favorite ski area! If I draw the first rifle tag I’m hoping for, it’ll be in your neck of the woods as well.

    Cases trimmed too small

Interesting, I have both Federal and Hornady cases laying around so I’ll have to take a look at that.

    Cases trimmed too small

Sweet, thanks! Yeah, I know when they're too long, that's another story altogether.

    Cases trimmed too small

Yay, I'm not alone! That's good to hear, and sort of what I expected. They are definitely a little stubby compared to all the others so wanted to be sure I wasn't getting into some sort of "danger zone" Thanks for the reply!

    Cases trimmed too small

I must be some kind of stupid. I got a new Little Crow Gunworks trimmer for 7mm Rem Mag, and when trying to get it setup, went a bit overboard on the first 3 cases, trimming way under the recommended trim length of 2.490". In fact, these 3 are under the SAAMI minimum and measure 2.472". I...

What did you do in the reloading room today?

Just annealed 100 pieces of Peterson 7mm Rem Mag brass, using a buddy's AMP annealer. Man, I gotta get me one of these!

WTS Problems with a seller on here

In fairness, you never said "I'll take it". You asked what forms of payment are accepted. That's a question, not a statement. As others said, it's a bummer, but probably best to move on.

    Sitka vest for going out

The Grindstone is another good suggestion.

    Sitka vest for going out

I definitely don't consider it too bulky, which is a big reason I like it so much. It's warm, but not too warm, and I consider it a fall/spring kind of deal. And the Gore Windstopper is a nice feature. You could go lighter and get the Mountain vest, I suppose.

What's the right move - hunters hunting the same basin

Yep, about the same here. I'm only 4 years into my elk hunting career, all OTC hunts in CO, and accepting the fact there are a ton of people in the woods with you and learning to use the pressure to your advantage is huge. It took me a couple seasons to figure that out. As a matter of fact...

    Sitka vest for going out

I guess it depends, but I have a Jetstream vest in a solid color that I tend to wear quite a bit as everyday wear. I love it.
