    Spypoint Flex cams

Update on my SpyPoint CS experience just today: talked with a representative pretty quickly, within 5 mins or so of being on hold, which was great. They did some simple troubleshooting with just trying new batteries and cycling on/off. Without any difficult they said they will replace this Flex...

    Black Gold Sight Elev/Wind Adjustments

Oh, for sure. I agree totally. This is totally unneeded in the grand scheme. At the end of the day I simply wanted to "know" how marks to move my sight up or down based on POI. Since it wasn't mentioned anywhere. This all came about while working on a site tape this last weekend My main...

    Spypoint Flex cams

I got a few of the Flex model the last year. Not overly impressed, image quality is not the greatest (even on the higher residential setting and requested HD photos). I pretty much don’t trust them to work. I had an antenna connection that malfunctioned (broke and the fitting pushed into the...

    Black Gold Sight Elev/Wind Adjustments

I went down a small rabbit hole this weekend, so bear with me. I haven't seen this posted yet, maybe I missed it, but if not I wanted to share. It's always slightly bothered me that I never knew exactly how much to adjust the sight housing (up/down/left/right) or individual pins (up/down) when...

    Appropriate Velocity?

That speed seems about right in my opinion. Based on my similar IBO speed bow, Bowtech RevoltX, 70lb DW, but differing a bit on the mod and DL (I’m at 29.5” with performance mod, and draw stops set to about 80%LO). Also, at the risk of extrapolating beyond my dataset and using a simple linear...

    I don’t like my bow

This post really boost my confidence in considering a used bow from classifieds or eBay. Lots of great bows in the last few years, and with new flagship bows year after year, it really makes opportunity for getting a steal of a deal on a 1 or 2 year old mode. Lots of shops have deep discounts on...

    Mechanicals for Turkeys?

Right! Fortunately I did check. For big game, I have the shafts cut behind the front of the riser using fixed broadheads. Found a decent deal on a half-dozen Easton 6.5mm shafts (uncut) that I plan on using with those decapitator broadheads

WTS Kuhl Interceptr Fleece Zip Sweaters

Kuhl Interceptr Fleece Zip Sweaters, Gray (Lg) and Red (XL). Very little wear, no tears/holes/burns. Zippers are good. Say 9/10 due to being lightly worn. Usually these are $139 (new), and on sale for around $105. $90 shipped each. Prefer to ship together, but since difference sizes that could...

    Mechanicals for Turkeys?

Thanks for the feedback! Do the spitfire heads lock open or close? The arrows are long/un-cut to work with the bullhead decap heads, so it should clear riser and sight easily. I will be testing these head later this evening

    Mechanicals for Turkeys?

Thanks for the feedback. Sounds like they should work well Any experience or issues with mechanicals and 60lb bow on turkeys? The arrows are only going about 250 fps. I adjusted down the draw weight of a backup bow for turkeys, figuring its easier to draw while sitting.

    Mechanicals for Turkeys?

Any issues with mechanical broadheads not deploying on turkeys? I'm trying mechanicals for the first time (NAP Spitfire XXX 2" diam 3 blade), usually just use whatever big game 3-blade head I used the previous season on deer/elk. Past experience with a fixed blade on turkeys has been mixed, some...
