I have trapped many coyotes over the years but have never set for bobcats. This year I made the time and got a few sets out and was lucky enough to connect with this female.
Yes, it's the new Maven RS 1.2. I've only got 25 rounds or so with the new scope, but I like it so far. Only minor problem I have is using the black center dot against a black target.
For a little history on the most recent, now over, fur boom. Those of us fortunate enough to have western heavy coyotes, North Dakota, eastern Montana and Alberta, can thank this photo
It created a fashion frenzy for Canada goose jackets. I talked to a rep of theirs many years ago and he said...
XLR 4.0 Magnesium
Tikka action
22" Hells Canyon Armory chambered in 7 max
Maven RS1.2 2.5-15
Warne mountain tactical rings
Anarchy Outdoors 20 moa base
The gun as pictured weighs 9.5 lbs. Should finish at 11 lbs with the can and bipod.
Thank you! I didn't know if they still would because of the double zipper pulls. Now that I look at the picture more it makes sense, they just don't come all the way apart like the merino base layers with one zipper pull. Thanks again.
Does anybody know if the Kenai pants can be put on and off like Kuiu's 3/4 length base layers? I want to be able to layer them under my pants but still be able to take them off and back on without removing my boots and outer layer. Thanks.
I'm not sure if it's been mentioned yet, but for those that have used this one or other Maven scopes, how does the glass compare to other scopes in similar price ranges? I understand it isn't a NF but is it as good or better than the Triji tenmile, vortex razors, NF SHV, etc.?
