    If I'm shooting whistle pigs my go to caliber is .17 HMR or .17 WSM.

    If I'm hunting in close I'll use a .22 Hornet or .22 Mag.

    I really enjoy coyote hunting. I moved to Idaho from Kansas five years ago after retirement. I haven't had any luck coyote hunting on BLM land in Idaho. If any of you guys are looking for a hunting buddy to shoot coyotes in Idaho let me know.

    I run a .22-250 with 52 grain BTHP. I load them kind of light @ 3300 fps. Just killed two coyotes at 150 yards and did just fine.
