To be clear, I will be buying a limited number Tikka soon. So, “raise your hand” if you want to get dibs on them. You are not obligated of course.
I don’t have a final price, but we’re talking about nearly the same cost as if you bought all separately.
I will buy more based on the feedback...
Yeah, the idea is to cover niche stuff and give an easy button. It’s basically charging normal precise of everything on our end, and maybe a minimal fee for swapping barrels.
It shouldn’t cost much more than if you ordered the parts yourself. Other than that it’s going beyond the niche and we’d...
We are meeting with the ATF this week for our FFL. We are working out exactly what we want to do. But, here is one option that I want to float.
Who is interested in new Tikka rifles with new prefits in calibers like 22 creed, 6 creed, 6 PRC?
Any other calibers?
We could be shipping rifles as...
I would definitely shoot by caliber, lol.
It’s for fun, so hang em and go for it. If you cut rubber tires like suggested that can be cheap, even bicycle tires.
I am most worried about the big calibers…
Firehose/belts/Tpost toppers are the bet mechanism to attach, but the rest of the system is prone to failure. The AR500 stands are the least prone to failure.
Otherwise you can get through a small friendly match with any decent hardware of the 3...
I have had this style slip if really smacked hard. They work though.
One drawback is if the post goes in at an angle to the shooting position the plate is not square to the target.
Dang, these are $5 cheaper than the 5 I bought for the AZ Rokslide shoot. May have to buy a couple more...
You can find hose or belts on eBay.
I have gone to t-posts and single hangers that slide on top. The Caldwell ones are a decent bargain. These outlast chain in my experience and take less to haul around and set up.
I hand tight everything and check it as part of my rifle handling process when I pick it up and set it down. A quick snap to tighten and loosen keeps my cans on well for shooting purposes. But, checking is necessary. Many times after a day of shooting it’s harder to get it off and requires a...
If you get some thin plastic, you can slip it between the cover and the ribs to slide it over more easily. Of the many versions, this was one installation method for a silicone wrap cover. It didn’t reduce mirage enough. It was a wrap of temp resistant silicone with a fabric sleeve over.
@mxgsfmdpx made a special request for orange… I think I found a source. Gonna test it out and get some feedback on the color in person. It’s officially “tangerine” or something like that.
No specific plans to release it, but it may happen as a special run. I need to confirm regular availability...
I am an idiot… new one incoming. Find a friend with an Ultra 7.
There are over 20 different sizes that were ordered. I had dozens of suppressors to convert and saw Ultra, and I guess I had 7 on the brain. That’s my handwriting.
When the covers relaunch in the store it will be carefully...
It is acceptable and within tolerance to be flush or hang over the front a tad.
For the rear, it will hang over because of the constriction sewn into it.
It can be stretched to hang over more or left relaxed. If you push it to the point of almost bunching you can take out slack.
