As a non resident how would you rack western states as a value. I have hunted elk, mule deer, and antelope. Assuming someone just wants to go hunt out west every year, no matter the species, how do you rank each state as a value to apply for each species?
There is also no repercussion for the landowners trespassing over the public lands airspace in this instance.
Their chains and signs are violating the airspace of the blm section. A lot of rules for thee and not for me in these corner crossing situations. Hunters should try to get funds...
Not really. When I use it glassing in the morning it pretty much blocks all the wind. I didn't have a problem with moisture this past season either. I'm not sure how much the foil helps keep the heat in but I'm sure it doesn't hurt.
I bought the foiled fabric vs75 and the mesh from questoutfitters.com the inner fabric was argon 90 from dutchwaregear.com and the down was 16 ounces of 900 fill power water resistant treated from loosegoosedownsupply.com
I didnt follow any pattern just looked around at what other people have...
Here is my DIY down quilt. I sleep cold so I went a little overboard trying to make this quilt as warm as possible. I used this foil backed fabric hoping that would help improve how warm it was.
This fabric was pretty pricy at 26$ a yard, but I figured I was saving some money making it myself...
Sow quotas being met. I don't know for sure but I'm guessing that a lot get shot from private because I tried to go check it out two years ago before it closed and there was so much snow up in the NF you couldn't access anything without a snowmobile.
I've tried going in the snowies the last two years but the season has closed very early. Check the areas you're planning on going and see how long they are normally open for.
I ordered some to make a sleeping bag for my dog when camping. I think I'm going to actually order some to make a puffy jacket/pants in the future. I haven't used apex or any other synthetic insulations but the 6 ounces I ordered packs down smaller than my synthetic puffy jacket.
