Not 1 shot cold bore specifically. But they do talk about builiding up a large group for a hunting rifle by doing 3 shots at a time over several days. A guy could do the same thing with 1 shot at a time.

I had the same magazine issue with my Ranch in 6.5 grendel. I removed some coils from the magazine spring to lighten the force amd beveled the rear edge of the follower because the bolt was catching there. It made a huge difference.

For the technology part, the move to electronic tags starting in June is probably part of the strategy. The app will require users to complete the harvest questionaire in the field prior to getting their validation code to tag the animal. That data will be automatically uploaded to AZGFD...
