Looking for a BX-3 8X32 in mint condition in box, or even as a reach, brand new in box. Thanks

Has anyone compared 10x ELs & Noctovids?

Not much difference between the Noctivid and the EL SV regarding transmission. For Low light if 10X is your choice and weight is not a problem, then the SLC 10X56 or the HT 10X54 would fit the bill. JMO.

    New Zeiss Bino—SFL 10x40–Review

I have never thought Swarovski SVs or NLs to have 3D views.

    Meopta

I wonder why the Moderator at Birdforum would make this statement, however he does have contacts in the EU, and they are not doing well going forward.

    WTS * SCAM ALERT * -> Liberty9

This was also posted on the Birdforum classifieds forum. The flag for me (dries1 on bird forum) is the $1,000 SLC 8X42, even from 2013, still worth at least $1,300.00. They always try to lure one in with a lower than normal price. If it is too good to be true it likely isn't. Andy W.

    WTS Meopta Meostar 8x42

New ones are now over $1200, and with just a bit more transmission, tough to replace at cost even near what you bought them for. Andy W.

    Swarovski NL Pure Binocular

Zog, I did like your previous post regarding decisions on choosing the 8X 10X and 12X formats, it was funny. I have a few 10X42s and 10X50s, the 8X42 NL provides that nice wide view as an all around glass for different uses. Andy W.

    8x Bino Recommendations

Try out a pair of Leupold Alpine in 8 or 10X42 for a bit less than $200, they surprised me and they are very portable, Leupold did a good job with these. That way if she does not go out with you again, you have not committed too much $$. Andy W.

    Swarovski NL Pure Binocular

I procured the NL 8X42, it is a very nice glass, I already am set at 10X42 and higher. It is not bad under dark skies either. Andy W.

    Discontinued Trinovids Vs Ultravid HD

It is a nice glass, it compares well with others priced higher. The build quality is a step above the new HD Trinovids. Andy W.

    Bino Advice

Zeeman, If you could try both and determine if 8X is suitable. I have a hard time keeping a light 10X32 steady (especially with the 3.2mm exit pupil, ones eyes have to be specifically aligned to get the full FOV). I much prefer 10X42 with the added weight for stabilization. The FOV of the 8X32...
