Out of the six goats I have three are alpines, two are boer sannan crosses, and one is a pure sannan. I've paid anywhere from 125 off of Craigslist to $300 from a breeder for a trained goat. All of them have about the same work ethic but I'd recommend the money for a trained ready to pack goat...
