Weird things happen even with small changes. Some bows hold tune better that others. D loop location could be a reason for change in tear if the d loop was not installed level to the manufacturer recommended rest position.
That is just one example of something that could have happened. Best bet...
You're not going to get into anything new thats worth a sht for that price. I'd look used, find a flagship bow that's 10 years old that's in decent-good condition.
Used to be illegal here in NV to carry any firearm (including handgun) while actively archery hunting. They must've seen how ridiculous this was because it is changed now. I still carried mine at that time, I think there's a clear case to be made on some of these laws. Most wardens I've seen out...
12x and spotter is perfect for me in high desert. When hunting rocky mtn areas I like 10s if I'll be still hunting beds. I've also ran 10s on chest 15s in the bag and that is pretty sweet alpine setup to. Just cant get good score estimates with that kit.
I would recommend at least 10s. They are...
Fort for my 2 cents on arrow building theory:
Arrow weight isn't as important as people think. As long as you've got a quality arrow at 10-15% foc somewhere between 400-500 gr, on a well tuned bow, you'll kill what you're shooting at with propper placement.
I run victory vap ss 300 spine, 50...
Arrow weight isn't as important as people think an I wouldn't read into getting super science (hurts my brain) As long as you've got a quality arrow at 10-15% foc somewhere between 400-500 gr, on a well tuned bow, you'll kill what you're shooting at with propper placement.
Shoot a weight you can hold comfortably for long periods of time. Speed is not that important compared to comfort and placement unless you're trying to bomb 100+ yards at the range. Arrow weight isn't as important as people think either. As long as you've got a quality arrow at 10-15% foc...
I don't think arrow weight matters as much as foc. I do prefer a heavier arrow for elk. Shooting 460 gr now. Killed many elk with 500-510 gr setups. Always at 12-14% foc
