I broke my Kuiu carbon fiber frame last year and need a replacement frame. My pack is a Kuiu 5200 Icon.
I bought it in 2014, and the frame is no longer sold.

They offered to carry me to the chopper, but I was more comfortable with them just holding my leg up off the ground. Less likely to drop to the ground if I'm already on it.
Update. I called them and they said that the lifetime warranty is for the normal lifetime of the product. For a backpack they have defined that as 8 years. So it's a product lifetime, not mine. So, no warranty coverage, but they did offer a substantial discount to me for a replacement pack.
I have an Kuiu Icon 5200 backpack (purchased 2013). Last week both carbon upper supports broke. I sent the warranty info to Kuiu and they denied the warranty claim, stating: "it does not fall within the coverage guidelines set forth by our Warranty Policy due to the age of the frame."
