Weatherby Mark V Hunter in 300 Win Mag

I bought the MKV Hunter in 300 win mag. It shot a best 3 shot group of .75" using factory Barnes TTSX ammo while breaking in the barrel. I really like the gun and would recommend it. I ended up getting a Peak44 stock for it also which is 9 oz lighter than the stock one. Total weight with a...

300 Win Mag recommendations… Thank you!!!

I wanted to update everyone on the Weatherby MKV Hunter in 300 win mag I ended up getting. It is shooting great. During the recommended Weatherby break-in, it shot around a 0.5" 3-shot group. This was with Barnes TTSX 180 gr factory ammo.

2023 Central Montana Elk/ Mule Deer Combo Dates

Thanks for the replies... They said the first hunt in October has the opportunity for the first bull of the season which could be an advantage, but more than likely little mule deer activity. I'm also driving from the East Coast so I guess there could be some bad weather in November? I'm...

    WTB Pre-64 94 in .30-30

I have a pre-64 Model 94 Winchester (made in the 50’s) caliber- 32 Winchester Special I’d let go with a couple boxes of shells. It’s been used but in decent shape, shoots good and wouldn’t make you feel bad to carry it hunting. Previous owner installed sling swivels. $960 is what I’d like to get.
