Although it's a long way off I'm planning on blocking out 2 weeks for black bear hunting in August/September in Wa state. I'm a little undecided about getting further back or doing "day hunts" with a more comfortable camp. Has anyone ever used pack goats for a bear hunt? One of my concerns was...
Check one out called "No Bait Just Bears"black bear hunting tactics, by Douglas Boze. It's on Lulu.com (a self publishing website-it's legit). It;s also on Amazon but cheaper on lulu.

Check out Lulu.com. It's a self published book selling website. E book and paperback available. Takes a few days to print. Then it's shipped. I ordered one just the other day.
