Seems to me people have done a good job answering your initial question. First they pointed out that with the points you have you ought to have gotten the tag you want. That tells me that no, you needn’t give up if that’s the unit you want.
They also posted up results from last year which not...
The only wrong choice is to not go. If faced with the choice between hunting a second choice area or stay home I’ll go second choice all day long.
Actually I’ll get doe tags... 2 does and tent camping is less than $300 for me and always awesome.
That having been said, Buzz knows his stuff is...
Visited in 15 & had a nice time but walk in was empty and state along 270 was more mule deer habitat than pronghorn. We had best luck driving in circles looking on small overlooked chunks. WIAs were so small that lopes were run off fast.
Tripod for binoculars. Unless you’re really counting inches don’t worry too much about a spotter. You don’t have to go in miles; even a little topography blocking an area from view when on the road can hold deer. Glass glass glass.
Awesome vid don’t know how anyone but a blind partisan can see Don Jr’s hunting as anything but good.
Political tribalism has taken over every facet of life. It will prove the undoing of the USA.
Listening to understand and not just to throw out a snide one liner is rare.
I really greatly...
I’d not hesitate to substitute the 87 gr TNT Speer for those after working up a load w/ the Horn tho I don’t push things to the limits pressure-wise...
CC is right; I always verify my routes via county web sites, then call an authority like warden and verify again, saving his number in my phone so I can have it at my finger tips in the field. Roads that are private aren’t well marked at all and many that are public are marked private.
Here is the place to look for fawn/doe Pronghorn odds. Don’t know if you used this for your cow tag or not.
Good luck; nothing more fun that Wyoming Pronghorn!

Good show man; thanks for the inspiration. I’m hoping to knock my first bull over in the next several years so this is great fuel I’d be darned proud!!
I am in the Grand Rapids area and would enjoy a group trip (even if just 2 people).
Where you located? How do you like to hunt? What States & species?
You got a five year plan? If so, what’s it look like?
I’d love to chat!
Grace & peace,
