Charleston, SC—things to do & see?

Look for sheds. Not Charleston, but was visiting the in-laws in Murrells Inlet not too far away last week and managed to find what I assume is a hammer for those parts. If anyone is near MI and wants to match it up, let me know and Ill send a pin

Creepy experiences in the backcountry

I experienced the same thing, but during a snow storm on the ridge in NW NJ. Luckily the next day the paper ran an article on the rare "thunder snow storm" we had. But there was no thunder.....just the entire woods lighting up for what seemed like 30 seconds at a time.

Which states prohibit or limit field-quartering of big game?

Here in NJ they added "unlawful for any person to place, leave, dump or abandon .....Carcass or parts ...along a public right of-way etc." To our Wanton Waste law. Though this technically makes packing out illegal, it was written to stop lazy hunters from dumping carcasses in parking lots after...
