I never used a boresnake on a rifle but used quite a few of them on many shotguns. As a precaution, I would tie a nylon cord to the loop at the rear end of the snake so that if the "main" cord breaks, I could pull the snake back out. Thankfully, I never had one break.
I’m not sure if the rifle...
It seems that the consensus is what I suspected. Mountain Tactical advertises that "some" users report improved accuracy and kinda infer that it makes the stock more rigid. I was pretty skeptical due to the wording and logic.
I’ve been toying with the idea of replacing the bottom metal on my factory stock T3X. I know there are advantages other than accuracy BUT I am curious if you experienced an improvement in accuracy that can be attributed to replacing the plastic with a “real“ metal version? When it was all said...
Are the Bradleys ambidextrous and if not, do they offer a left hand version?
I tried contacting them from their website but got a message that I didn’t posses the appropriate privileges… what!???
Please forgive an old man, I do not intend to brag but to convey that what I state comes from a vast amount of experience that I was fortunate to have garnered over the years. Dogs are my passion!
I trained field trial labradors for many years (1967-2000) and in my experience and after training...
Interesting, I had a new box of Federal Fusions that would not chamber in my 308 Roughtech or my son’s Veil. Federal sent me a new box and they just "slip in" without any effort. It took awhile but Federal made it right. It seems that I am hearing more and more about these type of issues with...
I had my rotator cuff surgery in mid June. I had 2 severe tears completely thru and if I remember correctly, they were separated by more than 1 cm. Additionally, I had a moderate tear and a large spur. Unbelievably, pain was minimal. I’m still doing physical therapy and have regained about 90%...
I failed to mention that with your welding/fabrication experience coupled with documented CAD proficiency would make you an ideal candidate for a structural designer.
Best of luck to you.
I have not read any responses so this might be redundant.
I taught Engineering Design courses (tech) for 40 years for a local community college. Since the 1980s, those courses were all CAD based. We used AutoCAD, Inventor, and Microstation. Very often I would counsel students who only wanted...
I’ve used them fairly often on shotguns and worried about them breaking. As insurance, I tied a nylon cord on to the trailing loop. That way, if it broke, I had a means of pulling it out from the other end. I never had one break though.
I don’t know if the rifle versions have that trailing...
