2012 success thread

What size sleeping bag?

I'm 5'11" and use the standard 6 foot bag. My feet seem to get colder in the 6'6" bags I've used. I guess I prefer a closer fit around my dogs.

A Father and Son Sheep Hunt

One big bag or a smaller bag with pods ?

I think a big bag is more versatile. I hate being tied to stuffing things in pockets as they'll fit. I ordered a DT2 and upon receipt was disappointed with the size. I returned it and am awaiting the DT1 bag. When you add all of those pockets and pods, the weight starts to add up. It makes...

Bone saw for Alaska
