Just feel more rigid. I like how they lock on the rail. I accidentally dropped my rifle and it landed on a rock last summer, my scope never shifted but it took a good gouge out of the Talley ring. Didn’t inspire confidence in me. Talleys have never failed on me, but I don’t feel super confident...
Yes, I haven’t mounted them yet, but I have unboxed them and watched the YouTube video on how to mount them. I think they are going to work well. They are built much sturdier than the Talley rings I currently have.
Bought the 1 horse grinder on Black Friday sale this year. Was quite a good deal, with free shipping to Alaska. Worked great processing 250lbs of moose meat. It’s pretty much exactly the same as my friend’s 1 horse cabelas grinder. Worked well for me thus far. Hope to have more to feed it this year.
I bought a Howa 30-06 for my first rifle, but bought and shot my wife’s .270 lite veil Tikka T3X shortly after. After shooting the .270 I liked the Tikka so much I eventually sold the Howa and got a Tikka for myself.
So I have a Tikka T3X Lite Veil in .308 that currently has Talley rings and a Leupold vxfreedom. I’m wanting to upgrade to the nightforce nxs 2.5 x 10 -42 and use the unknown munitions rings. Has any one on here mounted one using this setup? Did the eye relief work out ok with the recoil pin...
Im sure it’ll go to a draw eventually. There was a lot of frustration this year for people trying to get tags and that pool seems to grow every year. Just please, no points in any way shape or form.
Hauled a cow moose rear quarter inside my exo k4 7200. I could have fit both front quarters inside at the same time if I wanted, but I hauled them one at a time. I typically haul stuff on the load shelf, but I was tired and it was getting late. Just kept throwing moose in the main bag body to...
Not too much really. I have most of the accessories out now, and love the pack system, but exo’s creativity always surprises me. Was just curious if they had anything else cooking for 2024.
Started my electrical apprenticeship at 28. Got married at 30 and had kids at 35. Now I’m going on 39. Being an electrician has been good to me. Not always the easiest being in construction, but once you are established there is a high demand for skilled labor.
