I used a Lyman tumbler with walnut media then decided I really needed a wet media with tumbler and SS pins. Went right back to walnut after about a half dozen times using the wet and steel pins.
My time is worth more than the added steps, mess, and time spent using the pins. I do HATE having...
My suggestion is to get off the bench and get prone, make sure you can load the bipod, get a rock rock solid rear rest, and do your part as the shooter in regards to the fundamentals. Shoot that 300 yrd group agian and see what happens.

In the first LR shooting class I took, the guy that outshot everyone used a Tikka CTR in 6.5 creed. Better than the Accuracy International guy, the full custom guys, everyone. The rifle and shooter smoked us all.

Absolutely correct, but when you need a TQ, you really need it. Better to apply it if warranted and attempt to get the help you need rather than think about timelines.

I have been a firefighter for 25 years and have seen first hand how quickly the unexpected can happen. I personally don’t want to be that far from help without the ability to stop some major bleeding. A tourniquet, chest seal, and quick clot are such a small weight penalty. I’m gonna carry them...
- Cat T tourniquet,
- zip stitch wound closure kit (or suture kit if you know how to do them)
- halo chest seal,
- quick clot,
- Israeli bandage.
- Garmin in reach : )
First aid kit has numerous small items for small wounds/blister etc. but I wouldn’t leave the items above behind...
