    Tax question?

Just finished my taxes today. I own my own ranch/wildlife services and consulting business so I get LOTS of 1099’s. Fire away if you think I may be able to help.

G19 to G26 to G43 to P365 and some in between

Springfield Hellcat in an alien gear iwb at 4:30 position is my daily/work carry. It’s been there, in that holster, in that position for so long that I feel naked without it. I shoot it very well. My going out/dress up/Church carry is a 365xl w/ a SIG Romeo on top in a Tulster appendix iwb. IMHO...

    Tripod Overload Comparison

Attached are pics of just about every conceivable option I could ever use depending on the hunt and circumstances. They may not be in the right order but here they are (everything is on the RRS TFCT 33 w/anvil 30 head and small rig pan head added except for shooting): -camera set up...

    Suppressor wait times

If you filed electronically, you will get an email from the ATF Eforms system saying Status Changed to Approved. When you get this email, call your dealer to let them know and then they can release your can to you.

    Tripod Overload Comparison

I guess the best way to describe RRS equipment, not just their tripods but even their heads and other equipment, would be to compare it to alpha glass. If you can remember the first time you looked through swaro binos after only glassing through Nikons or bushies, it’s about the same. Their...

    Tripod Overload Comparison

I do the same thing but with a small rig pan head on top of my rrs anvil on a tfct 33. There is a weight penalty for sure but stability for glassing while still being able to be super solid in just about any shooting position is awesome.

    Build me a custom rifle

This is a really good point. I know a few people that have contacted Proof and requested shorter barrels. They have obliged accordingly and the turn around has been relatively quick compared to custom rifle wait time.

    Build me a custom rifle

I would skip the custom build route and go with a Proof Research or similar upper end rifle. My Proof MTR in 6.5 PRC shoots as well as any of my semi customs with no wait time and less money. You can get your rifle, add a Trijicon TenMile and still come in under budget. As far as caliber goes...

    Horizon Firearms

A good friend of mine recently bought one in 22 Creed. Its the carbon fiber barrel model and it shoots really well. He’s shooting 77gr Berger OTM’s from Copper Creek and it literally stacks 3 in the same hole. We did a little late season doe harvest a couple of weeks ago and those little bullets...

La Sal Del Rey Nat'l Wildlife Refuge, TX Nilgai Hunt

Nice work on some really good meat and a good bull. I’m blessed to have access to some private ranch country and get to hunt them for a living. They are a blast to hunt and spring turkey/nilgai combo hunts coming up are even better. Congrats!

    Unknown no longer reloading

I’m not sure who your comment is directed towards but I can assure you that the lady I talked to on the phone told me they would not reload my brass that I purchased from them. There was no misunderstanding. She knew I bought everything from them with the full intention of getting them to reload...

You are correct but the 156 EOL is out of stock. Work kept me away from researching any further today but hopefully I’ll have time to play a little tomorrow and find a suitable alternative. Thanks again for everyone’s help!
