    Beating a dead horse....

Just another example of average bino’s vs good bino’s…..My wife has 10x42 diamondbacks, I have 10x42 SLC’s, 725 yards away in a small opening on a dark timber hillside my wife says “ why is there someone’s tent over there in the middle of the timber?” I look with my bino’s and was just some...

    Tundra cam tower leak

To be honest I haven’t really dived into this problem and have had to repair one yet. Most of my experience is with fleet diesel and equipment.

    Tundra cam tower leak

2014 with 151k and no leaks so far. But as a mechanic for over 20 years…..no manufacturer is immune from issues.

    Kodiak 10x14 Flex-Bow VX feedback

I have been using original 10x14 tent for about 7 years and has held up very well. Was in 50 mph gusts this antelope season and it stay upright (was worried though lol) I set it up by myself in about 10 minutes if it isn’t to rocky to drive in the stakes. It’s perfect for my family when we use...

    Sig Cross Magum 300WM released

I’m pretty interested but I’m not seeing a definitive price yet. Any info on pricing? I have a feeling it will be pushing over $2k……if that’s the case I’m probably out.

    Bowtech RPM 360

I have the same bow and was considering “upgrading” this year. But after I put a new string on it and re-tuned it, I shot it really well and decided to keep it. What will make my decision is if Bowtech puts their new cam timing adjustment setup on their hunting bows next year. But I’ll keep the...

Mark V Hunter Vs T3X light roughtek in 300 Win Mag

I have a tikka and like it a lot. I handle a mk v yesterday in 300wm and really liked the feel of the action but the barrel is really thin in my opinion.

Trading my half ton for something with higher towing capacity

Colorado does take in account for trade in and you are only responsible for the difference in taxes. But a dealer is only going to offer you probably 60%-70% retail value for your trade in. So you will be taking a pretty big hit on what you can trade straight across for. If you own your current...

    Inguinal Hernia & surgery?

I had mine repaired a few months ago. Just my opinion don’t let it go too long. I waited over 10 years so my recovery was a little longer and slower than I anticipated. After about 8 weeks I felt normal again.

Viper HSLR and HST Still Competitive?

I have had both of the hslr and hst. I didn’t have the hslr long enough to have a good opinion on it. The 4-16 sfp hst didn’t do to well for me. I had the windage turret move on me a lot when it was in a 4wheeler scabbard and the low light at higher magnification was not good. I sent it in for...

    2500 tires

These newer diesel trucks are so heavy and so much torque I don’t think they make a tire that is built to that kind of demand. I run a fleet of 15 diesel pickups and we average 30k miles on a set. We are running cooper at3’s right now because of pricing more than longevity claims.
